Clickety Clack your Australind train is coming back!


 

The first of four new train sets will begin operating on Monday 29 June 2026.

A community event will also be held at Bunbury Passenger Terminal on Sunday 28 June to celebrate the return of the Australind.

Timetable information

Rediscover the scenic route between Bunbury and Perth, featuring a modern design, greater accessibility and a return adult fare of just $36.80.                                                                   

Australind train services are returning with updated operating arrangements. Trains will initially run four days per week, while more railcars are introduced. During this time, train services will be supported by road coaches. This means some journeys will be operated by train and others by coach, depending on the schedule. 

The Australind train will depart from Perth City Station, while road coach services will continue to depart from East Perth Terminal. 

Stopping locations may vary between services, so please check your booking carefully.
