East Perth Station upgrade

Work will begin mid-August to upgrade East Perth Station as part of both the Perth Stadium Transport Infrastructure project and the PTA’s program of Disability Discrimination Act improvements. The work will be staged to minimise construction impacts. The platform will be divided into two with work taking place on one half while the other half remains open. The station will remain open on week days during the upgrade. There will be a number of weekend and week night closures to minimise the impact on peak hour passengers. Replacement buses will operate during all closures and passengers will be notified via the normal Transperth channels. The pedestrian footbridge may also be closed during some out-of-hours work. The number of parking bays at East Parade and West Parade car parks will be reduced during construction. Works are due for completion late 2017. For more information visit the Perth Stadium website.
