Ravensthorpe

Unique wildflowers year-round.

This small town, named after the nearby Ravensthorpe Range, is located 541 km south-east of Perth. Originally named Phillips River, the town began in 1868 when James Dunn Senior established a farm on the location. In 1892 gold was discovered, bringing with it an influx of people. In 1901 the town was renamed Ravensthorpe.

The town is famous for containing over 20% of WA's known plant species and its brilliant display of wildflowers that bloom year-round. Pop in for their annual Wildflower Show or take a stroll around the Public Silo Art trail.

Transwa coach services will drop you off in the centre of town.
