Online Travel Planner and Journey Planner
Use the Transwa Journey Planner to plan and/or book your travel on Transwa rail and road services. The Journey Planner is a secure system that can be used to book and obtain a Transwa ticket by using your credit card. The following conditions apply:
· The Journey Planner service is available for full fare paying adults and accompanying children, and Senior and Student SmartRider holders;
· All other passengers, those with other concession types, passengers wishing to purchase day return fares, passengers with special travel needs or children travelling without an adult/guardian are required to book directly with a Transwa Booking Centre on 1300 662 205.
· Bookings will only be accepted up to 5:00pm the day prior to travel.
· The maximum number of passengers permitted per booking is 10. For bookings of more than 10 passengers please complete a Group Bookings Request.
· Children under 5 years of age travel for free, only if they are nursed by an accompanying adult. Children occupying a seat must pay the concessional fare.
· Passengers wishing to make multi-sector bookings (i.e. Perth to Bunbury and then Bunbury to Walpole) need to make two separate bookings. Alternatively contact the Transwa Contact Centre to book and confirm travel within one Itinerary.
· Payment will be accepted by MasterCard or Visa credit cards and must be provided at the time of booking.
· In undertaking and accepting bookings and tickets all persons are subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter contained in the Public Transport Authority Act 2003, Government Railways Act 1904, By-Laws, Regulations and the terms and conditions contained within this website.
Book Online
· Click on Home to access the Journey Planner.
· Choose your Journey Type: One-way or Return.
· Select 'Depart From' and 'Going To' location from the available drop down list.
· From the drop down list or from the calendar, select your preferred travel dates (up to 90 days ahead).
· Select the number of passengers travelling for each category (Adult, Child <16 years, and Infant <4 years). Click the 'Add' button to add passenger types.
· Click the 'Search' button and from the available services make your selection to show the indicative fares.
· When ready to book click 'Proceed'.
· If no services are returned, try different criterion (location or date) and 'Search' again. Alternatively call the Transwa Contact Centre on 1300 662 205.
